READY OR NOT, HERE I BLOG!

Well I've been waiting for my 13 yr.old to help me make a blog. You see, I thought I wasn't capable of doing it myself. I have been drooling, laughing, stealing ideas, and sometimes crying these past few months as I loose sleep reading blog after terrific blog. Now if you knew me, you would know that I am in bed by 7ish. Yes, I said 7p.m. Here in Maine, in the winter months, it is dark by 5. You eat dinner, (or as we call it, suppa), by 5:30. With the kitchen all tidied up, the dogs fed, out for their last bit of business, and nothing else to do, your off to bed by 7. Actually, it is just me. I'm an early riser, and so that requires me to be in bed early, or mama ain't happy come morning. But since I have discovered the fabulous world of Blogging, I am up until 1 in the morning!!! My husband calls from the living room that if I don't get to bed soon, I'll surely turn into a pumpkin. My kids just shake their heads knowing what is coming the next day. And my friends that I love dearly, and love me back, can't believe I am staying up soooo late! Lisa, up past 7! Geesh, you start yawning at 3 in the afternoon. What is this Blogging your loosing sleep over they ask?! Well, I have enjoyed many a friendly, informative, lovely blog. And so I have wanted my own but been too chicken to do one. There are some pretty heavy duty Blogs out there ladies. And so I am tired of waiting for my teenager to have time for her old mom, (imagine that), and this is my humble attempt at a blog. I thank you for your kindness in dropping by. I promise to improve as time goes on. Hey, maybe my 13 year old will need something from me and then she will have time to help with my blog... see where I'm going with this. Hugs...
