It's Been A Long, Dancing with April, Day

It was one of those unusual days when my heart was broken, my feelings were hurt, and I spent time crying on my bed with sweet Sophie at my side. She always wants to make sure her momma is alright. I really love that dog.

Normally, I would have called one of my many understanding, always there to lend their ear, Girlfriends/Sisters, but today, I didn't. I just lay on my bed instead and gave it all to God. Novel idea huh. Sometimes we're so numb. Well, God is faithful, and He ultimately fixed all of what was troubling me in record time, including my heart.

The day ended up good, but I realized I was real tired, and hadn't even gotten on the computer once, which means I HAVEN'T EVEN BLOGGED!#^@%&^##!! I just knew something was off. So I thought I would take a couple of minutes before I head up to bed with this,

I ended up at The Country Doctor's Wife, a blog I try not to miss each day because she is so funny and has great posts. One of her post today gave simple directions to click over to her sisters blog, April Showers, (which I also frequent), and see her sister dancing. Of course I did, and seriously, I laughed so much, 18 year old stopped what he was doing, and checked to see what all the commotion was about.

Thank you April, for ending my day with laughter. I really needed it. The laughter and the dancing. I think we all need to dance a little like April, everyday.

Hugs from Maine

Oh, Lisa, I'm sorry you were having such a bad day. I'm really glad that it turned around and ended up happy... I just got my Country Living in the mail and haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Your mug reminds me a lot of the one I just posted... pretty and black & white... Hope you had a nice relaxing time with your magazine...Donna @ An Enchanted Cottage

I just realized, after seeing your copy of Country Living, that I haven't received an issue in a while. Lo and behold I let my subscription run out. What is wrong with me?

Glad your day ended up better. And April always cheers me up too!

Lisa,
So sorry to hear that you had that kind of a day, but a relief to hear that it ended better than it started and that you and our Father had some special time together!
Keep the faith and remember that God is always there to listen and He knows exactly what you are feeling all the time!
Hugs,
Janet

As well, I got my new Country Living Magazine and love it! I almost wait by the mailbox for it each month. Love your blog and I think we have a lot in common..
