So it's Monday already. I woke up this morning thinking it was Saturday? I thought today I would share with you one of my favorite places, (as one of my favorite things),
This is Jorgensons Cafe. It is a favorite place that Blue Eyed Husband and I go for coffee. My Good Friend got me hooked on years ago. Thats her on the far right. Here we are being silly with our other Good Friend on the left of me. I often meet friends there too. Boy, I have a lot of Good Friends!
When you frequent a local establishment, you get to know the fine people there, and they you. They become friends too. It becomes a second home almost. These three are so awesome. I consider them part of my life, and blessed to know them.
Not only have they served me coffee and a cheese bagel time and time again, they have been sweeties and given me a beautiful bouquet of flowers when I was feeling blue. Can't ask for anything better than that! So you can see why going to Jorgies is one of my favorite things.
The next favorite thing is this handy dandy thing,
I got this a couple of months ago, and I LOVVVVEEEE it. Notice the size, not all long handle like. It is so very handy for girls like us who are constantly changing this and that around the house. I'm pretty sure a woman invented this beauty.
My last thing today is this winter necessity in the state of Maine. Put on winter jacket, rub this on hands.
I have extremely dry hands. Especially in winter. I am constantly washing down one thing or the other, and so I needed to find something to help with the results of that. Because you know I'm not about to stop cleaning. My mom used this years ago, and I still do. Moms are so smart aren't they.
So there you have it. Three of my favorite things on this typical Monday in Maine.
Hugs to you.

Enjoyed your favorite things for today! Thanks for letting us know about the hand cream! I also get very dry chapped hands in winter. Enjoy your day!
Sounds like you have a beautiful life. Jorgie's is the type of shop I'd like to frequent, too. Great friends. Great coffee. What could be better?
We have a cute cafe here in Millinocket, too. It's called, The Appalachain Trail Cafe. That's because the A.T. ends (or begins) at Mt Katahdin. Dry skin? Oh boy, between the dry air, and frezzing temps, blowing wind, and snow...it's a wonder we have any skin left!!!! Love that Netrogena stuff! Hope you're haviing a splendid day in sunshine! hugs, Kathleen
That's a fun looking cafe! I'd hang out there too!
Thanks so much for sharing your favorite things with us!! What a lovely coffee shop.... you must enjoy hanging out there with your friends. :) Hope you have a wonderful day!
Love & Blessings,
Miss Jen
Oh...I also wanted to say I love your new blog look!
I absolutely love blue...... ;)
I've always wanted to have my own cafe hangout. Looks like a great spot you have.
Where did you find that cool hammer? And the Neutrogena hand cream is the best, I agree.
I need some of that hand cream...it's not as bad here in Massachusetts as I'm sure it is in Maine...but I do get really bad chappy skin! And that hammer is the coolest thing...I need one really bad for my girlie tool box!
