Seriously, Three Posts In One Day!

Hey there. Yup, me once again. I know, no post for 5 days, then 3 all in one. Oh well thats how it goes sometimes with me. All or nothing I guess. (Sewing Sister is giggling right now.) Anyway, remember this picture of the shop I showed you last month? The one I just got a business license, change of business permit, and what ever else I got yesterday at City Hall... Well, scrap it!!! I guess the devil didn't like my last post. Too bad! He's definately not going to like this one. Let me explain...

I just got a call from the man who was very eager to rent me the space, and it appears he now doesn't want to rent to me at the price I can afford. He feels he would loose to much money, (even though it's been vacant a long time. Years,I think).

And so it goes. I know my good friend from church Linda has been praying specifically for this, as well as many of you have also. Thank you friends. Please know that today I am not shaken by any of this, and was reminded of the scripture,

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs3:5,6

I guess the path that lead to this particular location was crooked, and not in His plan. I will trust in Him with all of my heart, not for a moment try to understand what that gentleman is thinking. Acknowledge that God is still and always, IN COMPLETE CONTROL, and be at peace knowing He is directing my path.

The right building will come along at the right time. Like you said, God is completely in control. When we were looking to buy our house we went through some crazy times. We had placed offers on several different houses that we thought were the right ones and inevitably something weird would happen and we wouldn't get it. After we had given up looking, our land-lord informed us that the house we were renting had been sold and we had 30 days to be out. We had been looking for a house for a year and a half, mind you. But...God being in control and knowing the plans he had for us, led us to a house in a nearby town that we hadn't looked in before. We had it purchased, closed and moved in in LESS than 30 days. And you know what? It's a much better house at a much better price than any of the others we had tried to buy. So, keep the faith. God has a plan and his timing is perfect.

I love the cable knit sweater chair BTW. Very cool.
