On A More Personal Note...

It's 5:30a.m., and I'm laughing my backside off (boy, don't you just wish it worked that way), as I looked at this first picture Sweet Baby Girl took for me. I wanted to show all of you the adorable aprons I found yesterday while on a spontaneous shopping trip with two of my very best girlfriends. I plan to wear them at my shop, but... didn't realize she took the picture before I found my other slipper!

Anywho, my pictures came right up this morning. Probably the only one up so early blogging I guess. Take a peak at these cuties! I found them yesterday, and plan on it being my "signature look", for the shop.

I figure when these bite the dust I can have others made for me. I will be known as "the lady with the shop who wears the great aprons." I also found these beautiful decorative balls and have awesome things in mind for them.

And look at these little sweeties... Great for a little girls room. You know for that little girl whose smart mother named her, Haily Grace. Or, Hope Gabriel. Or Gabriel Heather for that matter. Ooooo... How about, Hope Grace. Nah, too much.

Well, each day brings more blessings from above, and more reality of where God is leading. Such a calming feeling to know your in Gods will. I'm so grateful for His direction, clarity, love, peace. Not because everything goes right, well, or is even easier. But when life happens, (and it always does), I can go forward knowing my Heavenly Father is steering this ship, I call my life. I just need to pay attention and try my best to do what He is telling me. So I'm not responsible for sinking it. (and let me tell you, our ship has taken on much water through out the years.) But He has and will, keep it afloat, and on course. I'm not the captain but a deck hand. And I'm good with that.

I am missing Benjamin quite a bit these last few days. He's been gone over 3 weeks, and my moms heart seemed to say it was time for him to come home now... Yeah right. Good luck with that one, right? I do know God is faithful in all He has started, and will continue to bring our family closer to Him as we go through this period of adjustment with Benjamin gone. I am so very grateful for His constant care for Ben, and know as Benjamin draws near to God, God will draw nearer to him. What more could this mom ask for.

(P.S. I love you girls! Thanks for the encouragement!!!)
Hugs from Maine

Lisa, you found some beautiful things - and I love the aprons. I'm so excited for the new adventure God is bringing in your life. I love all the updates you give us. I'm sure Ben is missing you as much as you are him right now. But, I know that doesn't make it any easier.

Have a beautiful Saturday, Pam

I love the aprons. I think it'll look really cute to be known for wearing the pretty flowered ones! Sorry you're missing your boy!! I hope he has some time to maybe give you all a call with Easter coming up! My Olivia went on a college tour this weekend and has only called once. I told hubby last night I do not like that!!! I love those aprons! It will be a great signature look! Thank you so much for stopping in and following with me...means so much! You will laugh when I tell you, I printed those off the computer, it is the Edwardian Script ITC font enlarged to 400. I love the look of this font and this is what my signature is done with on my blog. I am going to be painting numbers and some letters. I just use carbon paper and then handpaint. I know some use an exacto knife and then use it as a stencil. I am excited to show what I am doing with those. Have a great day and can't wait to see more of your finds!

Hugs to you,
~Victoria~

I made that apron fabric into a dress for my "little" girl when she WAS little. One of my few attempts at something with fabric. It was precious. What a flood of memories it brought back seeing it just now.

Praying for comfort for your mom's heart!

Awww...... what wonderful goodies!!!
I just love, love, love the aprons....they are so beautiful and look like they would keep one quite clean from the messiness of cooking. ;) That's nice because there are some aprons that are cute but not so practical.... those look like a delightful combination of both!!! Hope you had a fantastic day. ;)

Love & Hugs,
Miss Jen
