I found this site from another blog I enjoy, Camila At Home
.
I am in prayer over the shop that I am feeling lead to open.
An opportunity found its way to me today, and I have much to pray about.
Since last week, I've not been discouraged about the location change, but more like the air was let out of my balloon.
I'm trusting God to lead me and guide me. To straighten out any crooked path I might be on...
I might just be a little... sshhhhh, "scared".
O.K.... I'll just say it. I'm afraid I don't know what I'm doing. Afraid I'll have nothing that anyone would want to buy. Afraid no one will come to my shop because,... well, the previous reason. Pheeeewwwww...
I go to Florida on Thursday with Sewing Sister, to visit, Florida Sister. I am so happy to be able to spend time with them. When the three of us are together, it always feels as though our mom is there too. Each of them reminds me of her in their own ways. It's nice.
Hey weren't they the ones that encouraged me in the first place?! I think I'm on to something.
I love this truck.

It is human to be afraid of the unknown sis and that is why you have your faith! Your faith will lead you beyond your fear and into an exciting chapter of your life. See you in three days!
I think you will be just fine!! Keep praying and have a wonderful time with your sisters!!
I will be praying for you!!

Love & Hugs,

It's ok to be afraid; it is a huge step. But I can't see you being anything but successful with it....you just have so much charisma and talent. Just keep trusting!:)
I like the truck
I know going and putting yourself out there is a big leap of faith! I am sure the advisary wants you to believe you won't have anything anyone wants to buy...but I know, and you know that many will! I am so sorry about the site you wanted...as it is said "One door closes another opens". I am sure at the right time and the right place it will be there. Hugs sent your way! Thank you to for the nice comment!! It always makes me smile!

Well, I for one would come to your shop...that is if you were closer :o) I love your style and I am sure anything you pick will be gorgeous.
Hang in there my friend! He will show you the way. He didn't bring you this far to leave you hanging!
Lisa, Keep praying and following the path the God has set you upon. Yes it's scary to start something new... but with him by your side, things will all come together. Stay positive and take things one step at a time.
You have the right attitude to keep trusting God for direction!! Hope you have a great visit with your sisters!!
The truck is pretty cool as well!
Greats photos! I know what it is like to be scared to open a shop...now I can't imagine NOT doing it! Good luck.
tugged at my heart when I read about how you felt being with your sisters... when the three of us are together it is like our mom is there too.. so so sweet and dear. I hope my kids feel that close someday...
Have fun with your sisters, you lucky thing!!!!
Everything happens for a reason. Put it in HIs hands, and go enjoy the time with your sisters. When your shop opens, my sister Tracey and I will be there to help you clelebrate. Hugs, Kathleen
I know how you feel ...I feel the same way. I dream of owning my own decor store, but fear that this small town would not support it. I have tried to get a partner, but no one thinks it is a good ideal. I wish I were near you we would so do it! I wish you the best of luck and have fun with your sisters. I have two myself, no brothers.
I am trying to find this song you are playing..let it be me?? who is that and what is the title? I love it.
Hope you have a wonderful, refreshing, and encouraging time with your sisters in FL.
It will all work out with the shop like it's supposed to - you're leaning on God for guidance and he's the one who gives you the desires of your heart to begin with. I'd love to come visit that shop if I ever make that dream visit to Maine in the Fall.
XO, Pam
Ooo Take heart! The best things in life are accompanied by risk and fear of the unknown... you can do this! Hooray you have the courage to move forward and enjoy new challenges on the horizon. Blessing to you and your new venture... I love your taste!
I think your shop will be great. I think the secret is to have a good mix of expensive items, but also tons of things that are way affordable. That keeps people coming in on a regular basis. Think about the decor section in Target. Every couple of weeks they rotate in new things and it is all affordable. I always find myself veering over to that aisle to see if there is something new.
Good luck. You will be fine if you pray often and follow the direction that God leads you in.
