I FOUND GOLD WHILE CLEANING OUT THE GARAGE!

I spent the afternoon with 13 year old and her friends cleaning out the garage yesterday. They were so sweet. Everytime I'd look around at all we had to do, get overwhelmed with the task at hand, they would say something like, "It's O.K. Miss Lisa, we're making progress." They even stopped at one point, held hands and prayed for me. I love 13 year olds friends. They are precious. Truly precious.

In the midst of all of the stuff/junk, I found gold. Yup, real gold. At least to this mothers heart. It is a letter written by 18 year old when he was quite a bit younger, and signed by the rest of the peeps. It was my Mothers Day "card". Here it is,

It says...

I love mom because she always helps me when I need help. You do all the kinds of things that make me love you. One thing you do for me, when I ask you, "Can you do this for me? " And, you like my friends. And the thing that I probably like the most is that you home school us and you like being with us.

Love, Matthew, Katelyn, Zack

Gold I tell you. Priceless gold.

oh Lisa, I pray my boys will say one day that they love that I homeschool them!! That is your children rising up and calling you blessed (Proverbs 31:28)! I love you, friend!
