SOME DAYS, I JUST WANT TO TURN BACK THE CLOCK...

For some of you that don't do face book, don't start. It's addicting. Actually, it's not so bad. I have been on it for a few months now and really like it. One of my friends sent me a photo of Sweet Baby Girl, when she was Sweet Baby Girl. EVERY DAY.

It's not that I consider her anything but my Sweet Baby Girl. If you have read more than one post of this blog, you know quickly that I adore her. But she is a teenager. So the "sweet" part of Baby Girl is well... lets just say, not every day,

There are times when I wish we (my fam and I), could just go back in time. I miss those years of them all being home, playing together, home schooling together. Dancing around the house to silly music, reading, just being together...

I'm certainly not complaining. I am blessed that our peeps are still home a lot, (except Ben being in Germany), I just miss those days, A LOT!!!

Sweet Baby Girl is still precious to me. She always will be. I am so proud of who she is, and who she is becoming...

She is creative, artistic, kind hearted... She has a amazing insight with people and reads them with accuracy. She is reasonable and doesn't like girlie drama but would rather have fun with her friends.

Her smile lights up this moms heart!

She is my Sweet Baby Girl, and I love her!

Katelyn 3 days old.

My gosh, it was like seeing my future. I have an eight year old daughter and I feel those "sweet baby girl" days are slowing fading away. I guess I better hold on tight.

When I think back to when I was her age, I know I was one who didn't let many pictures get taken. And about 14 years or so later, I wish I wouldn't have done that. You have some great pictures of her. Hopefully she will let you continue to take them for years to come, so she too can enjoy them years later.
God bless!

Hi Lisa,
that picture with your dear 4 reminds me of my own 3 brothers and myself when we were kids :)
And now I do enjoy all the time we can be together, my husband, I and our 3 children. Precious moments!
Happy day to you!

Loved your post Lisa! Our sweet baby girls are VERY much alike. Sometimes they're growing up faster than a mom's heart (and brain) can keep up with. Whenever I spend time with my girl alone I spend most of it in gratitude...that I was blessed with a daughter...and this daughter in particular. I love spending time with her...she makes me laugh and I'm often in awe of how wise she really is. We've done something right girlfriend!

My favorite part of Facebook is sharing old photos. My daughters are 17 and 22, so I feel like time has gone rather quickly.
Your daughter is lovely. :)

I too miss the days when my children were small and there were no distractions. It was just me, my husband and them and everyone was content to just be at home with each other. Now they have to go to work and on different shifts and not always at the dinner table together. When our kids are young we take for granted that they are with us each and every moment. It goes by way too fast.
