It's a sunny day here in Maine today. We have had rain for so long... Thank you God for sun!!! Well, our "new" house is pretty settled. We've all been so busy getting things here, in there places, all while working, cleaning, churching, living,...
I've taken a few pictures this morning of one of my very favorite rooms here. This is the kitchen. I'm pretty much done with it. It is up and functioning. I really, really, love it!!!
Sophie chewing on her bone in the sun. Wait, did I say SUN?!!! Even she missed it!
I love how the sun comes in first thing in the morning. It is a wonderful way to start the day. Coffee made, sun shining... what could be better I ask.
Dakota seems to like it here too.
Don't ya just love the yellow in the kitchen? It makes it bright and cheery even with all the rain we've had this past month. See the "curtains" They were cut down the middle to make two. One for each window. It was a buffet cloth and was sitting in my cupboard doing nothing. I just got the scissors out and cut away. Of course I tacked them up. No need for rods in this kitchen.
And there is sweet baby girl who is now 14!!! She has just gotten up this morning and is getting herself some milk with a muffin for breakfast. I love this rack in here. It is soooo very useful and I love how it looks. All open shelf like and all.
Well the next door neighbors are also our landlords, and they are terrific! On our first day moving, they came over and invited us for burgers and hotdogs! They are very kind and a pleasure to live beside. I think we'll all do well here. And truly, its already feeling like home.
Dorothy, when your right, your right!
It's good to be back. I've missed ya!
Hugs from Maine

Love the kitchen. I think we may have the same paint! I have the stainless in my kitchen too, but I'm getting ready to change things up a little,, I'd like to do black, red and white. We'll see what happens.
Your kitchen is so beautiful! That yellow just makes it so bright and cheery, and I love the vinyl letters!
Welcome Home! Your home looks beautiful and I love how light your kitchen is!!
