So much as been going on here. Our house has been full time and time again with Katie and her friends. Laughing, talking, eating... I love being in the kitchen making cupcakes, hearing my daughter laughing with the people she loves coming from the other room. It's who she is. It fills my heart.

She is growing up faster then I could have ever imagined. But, there are still times when she is in need of her moms gentle, encouraging, loving words. And I so cherish those moments. I wrap them up carefully in my mothers heart, and save them for a rainy day.

I am so proud of who she is. Not what she has or can do... but the "who" of Katelyn.
Insightful, kind, loving, helpful... She is a good friend to those who call her friend. What a gift that girl is.
Its all good, and I am grateful.
