God Was At The Super Bowl?

Have you ever gone to an event, gathering, get together, anticipating one thing, but coming away with so much more? Well thats happened to me, (no I think everyone), tonight. Now, I'm not much of a football fan. Blue Eyed Husband played in high school, and two of our boys played also, but I barely know what a football looks like. Pathetic, I know. Our church was having a Super Bowl Party/Mens Chilly Cook Off Contest all wrapped up in one big whoopty doo of a Sunday night.

The game was on the huge screen. Most everyone was busy watching, eating, cheering. Some more than others. (Tee Hee)

Not only did people show up with their cozy chairs to sit in, food to share, excited cheering voices... But God showed up. Yup, God.

In the form of being there to help, when help is needed,

Husbands and wives dedicated to the Lord and to each other,

Families who love each other with Christs mercy and grace,

And friendships that grow stronger in Christs love everyday,

I'm kind of glad I'm not into football. I think if I would have been busy watching the game, I would have missed seeing so much more. Thank you Lord. Oh yeah, who won anyway? Hugs from Maine

Hi Lisa...Everyone looks so happy and having so much fun! Gee, I wish I could have been there. It's quite plain to see God was there, smiling I'm sure at the love and friendships and fun. Hugs, XO Kathleen

Church families are the best! There is nothing like the bond between believers.
